The Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Academy has developed the ROBOTC programming language and curriculum for students. Software and curriculum are available for both VEX IQ and VEX robotics product lines.
ROBOTC is based on the C programming language, used in advanced education and professional applications. ROBOTC provides an easy-to-use development environment, as well as a comprehensive, real-time debugger. Free webinars, video tutorials, community forums, and detailed help files are available to assist your students with programming their VEX robot.
The ROBOTC Virtual Worlds application allows students to program their robot in a virtual environment. Virtual World is not VEX-specific.
